About
Sondre Ferstad is a musician, composer, and bandleader, and has released two albums under his own name, the first of which was a commissioned work for the Poesiscena in Ålesund (2018), in collaboration with author Lars Saabye Christensen. Ferstad has a knack for interdisciplinary expressions, and with his current project, "Pieces of Wood," which will also be recorded for his third album in 2025, he once again demonstrates himself as a creative and inventive artist.
He holds a bachelor's degree from the Jazz program at NTNU (2017) with chromatic harmonica as his main instrument.
